Bhava Naga is mentioned in a Vakataka inscription which states that Rudrasena I was a daughter’s son of Bharasiva Naga family.〔Vakataka gupta age: circa 200-550, Ramesh Chandra Majumdar, Anant Sadashiv Altekar, Motilal Banarsidass Publ., Feb 1, 1986〕 Ganapati Naga is mentioned in the Allahabad Pillar Inscription of Samudragupta.〔History of Ancient India: Earliest Times to 1000 A.
